from Rose Community Foundation
abstracts prepared by Hugh Fisher

A brief guide to assembling a crisis plan, including necessary preliminary planning such as deciding what events constitute a “crisis” for your business, determine who will be the leader in responding to any crisis, and set out what steps will be taken if a crisis should occur.  “The purpose is to provide timely and necessary information to leaders, staff and key constituents in order to avoid harm and prevent further damage,” the Foundation writes.  “The purpose is not to ‘spin’ things to look favorable when they are not.”
